About Me
I am a Berlin based self-taught artist. I primarily immerse myself in the realm of abstract painting and pushing the boundaries of conventional representation.
I reflect the essence of my free spirit through mixed media by using canvas and wood as primary mediums to create in various sizes. Diverse use of tools and materials are the fundamentals of my fluent creativity through curation of several techniques uniquely performed in each of my artworks. While I prefer acrylic paint, oil sticks, oil pastels, texture paste, aerosol cans as inorganic materials, I also combine them with charcoal, rocks, soil, clay and salt.
My works are dedicated to celebrating the sense of being in the moment by observing the relation between stateflow and perception of time. I see our senses as a tool to release our very subjective perceptions that are color coded somewhere deep inside us. With that being said, some colors are fastening the time while some are slowing it down or even ruling it out. For this reason, I experiment with an inspiring color palette.
Water and air movements are my main inspirations along with my hobbies of bird watching, whale watching and witnessing life in nature through flowers and rocks.
Through my artistic approach, I offer viewers a chance to bask in the warmth of unique moments of my experiences. My art invites viewers into a world that is filled with the mystical beauty of nature.
